Employment and Apprenticeships
We are always looking for talented furniture makers with diverse skills. Our method of employment is usually on a per project basis - we will discuss the project in detail, after which you will you will submit a quote to produce the piece. We are also looking for craftsmen and women with unique skills such as marquetry, gold leafing or French polishing, to name a few.
If you are interested in working with Turner Custom Furniture, please email us a resume. Please include only pertinent information, such as all previous furniture making experience, references if you have them, and images/ descriptions of your work.
We are also accepting apprentices of all skill levels for training in furniture design and construction. Your compensation will be knowledge and skill. We do not have a strict program; we offer hands-on learning in many subjects at once - on-the-job training of a kind. You may come and go as you like, however you will get out of it what you put into it. Three hours per week won't do much for you.

- responsible, self directed and motivated

- in possession of reliable transportation
- eager to learn from and teach others
- a nice person - a peaceful, harmonious work environment is very very important
