What style of furniture do you build?
We've built a good mix of contemporary and traditional furniture for clients. You can take a look at our portfolio here. Below is a partial list of the types of furniture we build. It's not exhaustive by any means. If you'd like something that's not on the list we can very likely build it for you, as everything we make is by hand.

What kinds of materials do you work with?
Our primary medium is furniture grade hardwood, such as mahogany, walnut or cherry. There are thousands of wood species to choose from - you can see some of them in our wood species guide, here. We also use glass, metal, stone and textiles in some of our designs.
Do you make upholstered or leather furniture?
Yes.
Do you make Formica and laminate furniture? Do you make log and rustic furniture?
No. Our primary focus is furniture crafted from fine hardwoods, veneers, and textiles.
What other sorts of things do you design and build?
We've built all sorts of things, including lamps, cutting boards, knife blocks, wall shelving, mantle clocks, countertops, boat tillers, decorative boxes, picture frames, stair treads, large canvas stretchers, and artist's easels, to name a few. We're always interested in different sorts of projects.
I saw a piece of furniture in a store, but it was very expensive. Can you build it for less money?
No. Manufactured furniture is always cheaper than a piece of hand-made furniture, for many reasons. We don't want to make an exact copy of a piece from a store anyway. We'd like to make you something unique.
Do you restore, repair, and refinish furniture?
We do repair and restore furniture, but we limit our efforts to reproducing missing or damaged pieces (legs, drawers etc.), fixing cracks, loose joints and peeling veneer. We don't refinish or French Polish furniture, but we'll be happy to recommend someone for you.
