I really enjoy working on Portfolio Center projects - every piece is unique and offers its own challenges. I can help you with every aspect of your project, from design to delivery.
Design
Some students provide me with a completely finished design, while others are still working out the details. In this case, I can help clarify and refine your design. We'll talk about your concept, and I'll suggest some ways to focus your design. I can also provide a 3d rendering of your project, so that you'll see clearly how the finished piece will look.
Fabrication
As I build your project, you'll be invited to come by the shop to see how it's coming together. I can also email you photos if a shop visit is not convenient. For the most part, I work in wood, but I can also work in cardboard or foam etc., if the need should arise. I do not undertake metal work. I provide upholstery services through a talented associate.
Delivery
Most pieces are delivered to Portfolio Center. I offer this service as long as I can fit it in my truck. Sometimes the chair comes directly from the upholsterer - he's got a giant trailer, so in this case even large pieces can be delivered. If your chair is too large for my truck, I can recommend a reputable delivery company.
