David is a design student at Portfolio Center, here in Atlanta. One of the classes requires the students to design and have a chair fabricated. The chairs are all based on a concept - they are not necessarily designed to be comfortable. Here is the the concept behind this chair: A dark, seemingly unsolveable problem always has an answer, if you look at it in a different way. The inside of the chair is gold leafed, with angled slats for a seat.
